                        Job Brief

We are looking for an HR & Admin Officer to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources department.

HR & Admin Officer responsibilities include processing employee data, updating company policies and assisting in the hiring process. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions.

Ultimately, you will make sure all HR and Admin operations run smoothly.

                      JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Recruiting, training and developing staff

·         Making sure that staff get paid correctly and on time

·         Pensions and benefits administration

·         Approving job descriptions and advertisements

·         Looking after the health, safety and welfare of all employees

·         Organising staff training sessions and activities

·         Monitoring staff performance and attendance

·         Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer’s own employment policies and procedures

·         Ensuring candidates have the right to work at the organisation

·         Negotiating salaries, contracts, working conditions or redundancy packages with staff and representatives.

·         Manage office supplies stock and place orders

·         Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets

·         Maintain and update company databases

·         Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents

·         Answer queries by employees and clients

·         Update office policies as needed

·         Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)

·         Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned

·         Carry out other administrative duties in order to fast track smooth running of the company

 

 

 

                PERSON SPECIFICATION 

  • Minimum Qualification of HND or B.Sc. in any relevant course

·         2-4 years of Proven work experience as an HR/Administrative Officer, or similar role.

·         Candidate must reside around Lagos or Abeokuta  and must be willing to reside on the Farm

·         Solid knowledge of office procedures

·         Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)

·         Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Commercial awareness

·         Effective organisational skills

·         Ability to form working relationships with people at all levels

·         Interpersonal skills

·         Meticulous attention to detail

·         Numerical skills
