Job Title – Data Analyst, Location – Lekki phase 1

We are recruiting an entry level data analyst. The successful candidate will transform data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
Job Description
 Conduct Full life-cycle analysis
 Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
 Check databases for changes and errors and to make corrections, as needed.
 Alert management and making process recommendations to prevent errors.
 Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
 Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases
 Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
 Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
 Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
 Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
 Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
 Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency.
Requirements:
• Proven work experience, a minimum of 1-2 years.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presentation
• A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
